Job Title: Investment Operations Specialist

Type of Contract: One year extendable
Roles & Responsibilities:
Transaction Processing: Efficiently handle and execute investment transactions, including trade settlements, confirmations, and reconciliations across various asset classes.
Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all investment activities, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
Performance Reporting: Generate detailed performance reports for portfolios, providing insights into returns, risk metrics, and compliance with investment guidelines.
Compliance Monitoring: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies, conducting regular audits and reviews of investment operations.
System Integration: Collaborate with IT to implement and optimize investment management systems and software, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
Client Reporting: Prepare and deliver comprehensive reports to clients, detailing portfolio performance, transactions, and relevant market developments.
Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks associated with investment activities, developing and implementing effective control measures.
Process Improvement: Continuously review and enhance operational processes to increase efficiency, reduce errors, and improve overall service quality.
Communication and Collaboration: Work closely with portfolio managers, traders, compliance, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient investment operations.
Training and Development: Stay updated with industry trends and best practices, providing training and development to junior staff to ensure high standards of operational excellence.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Investment, or equivalent disciplines related to the job.
- Professional certificates related to the job’s tasks are considered an additional advantage.
Skills:
- Solid understanding of investment processes and regulations
- Ability to work under pressure
- Proficiency in using computers (Oracle financial system, financial reporting system, and Microsoft Office).
- Financial/investment analytical skills
- Proficiency in Arabic and English languages
