As the Section Head – Strategic Accounts you will be responsible for ensuring that their sales professionals apply the highest professional standards in every customer engagement, sales Leaders are able to provide oversight and guidance on professional sales practices, which in turn, drive exemplary sales performance, sales Leaders are expected to learn, understand and oversee Ooredoo sales practices – this is a key component of any sales leadership role within the Ooredoo business, sales Leaders are expected to attain appropriate certification and maintain this for as long as they remain in a sales leadership role within the Ooredoo business, a key element of “The Ooredoo Way” is the maintenance of basic “sales hygiene”, i.e. the fundamental activities that all sales people must perform in their capacity as an Ooredoo sales professional. These core Key Performance Indicators (KPI) that must be tracked for both sales people and their leaders, performance against which is measured against published target guidance.
Core Responsibilities
You will be responsible of the following:
To achieve agreed financial targets.
To ensure sales professionals perform basic sales hygiene in keeping with the measures and guidelines described by “The Ooredoo Way:”
Core KPIs”.
To coach sales professionals in keeping with the practices and guidelines described by “The Ooredoo Way:
Sales Performance Coaching” To ensure sales professionals manage opportunities in keeping with the practices and guidelines described by “The Ooredoo Way:” Opportunity Management Methodology”.
Skills Required
Strong experience in each area described in “Minimum Experience & Essential Knowledge” Strong relationships with Private sectors bodies. Telecommunications experience, ideally with both Mobile and Fixed Telecommunications services and/or product suppliers, experience of wider ICT industry a plus. B2B ICT & Telecommunications Sales knowledge and experience. Demonstrates understanding of sales practices, processes, people, tools and systems (including SFA & CRM). Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of cultures in a diverse community Strong sales management skills, ability to foster a cooperative work environment amongst colleagues and partners. Ability to work collaboratively and drive sales performance in a complex environment Fluency in one (or more) of English, Arabic, French, Burmese and/or Indonesian, a requirement.
The Person
You should have a minimum of 8 years experience of direct B2B selling with at least 2 of these years managing sales teams, deep understanding and practical experience of sales processes and methodologies, literacy in communications products, services and technologies, including, but not limited to, voice & data telecommunications, Hosting/Cloud Services, Unified Communications, Carrier Services, Machine-to-Machine etc, proven ability to deliver B2B sales revenue targets within the telecommunications sectors – experience of emerging markets an advantage., ability to manage internal stakeholders to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, strong work and professional ethics.
