Job Purpose:

The primary purpose of this role is to support the accurate and efficient accounting of client-related operations, particularly in securities trading for brokerage and asset management activities. This includes reconciling financial records, assisting in the setup of IFRS accounting for new products, and managing the chart of accounts. The role also involves acting as a backup for Accounts Payable/Receivable tasks, identifying areas for process improvement, and ensuring all financial activities adhere to compliance standards and regulations.


Job Responsibilities:


  • Provide daily support for the accounting of client-related operations involving the trading of securities for brokerage and Asset Management activities.
  • Ensure the accuracy of financial records by reconciling account balances with custody positions, accounting statements and other sources.
  • Assist in the setup of IFRS accounting for new products in the back-office system.
  • Act as a backup for the person who handle Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable tasks, and handling daily responsibilities as needed.
  • Manage and maintain the chart of accounts within the front/back office applications.
  • Identify areas for improvement in processes or the systems related to financial activities and drive the change process ensure that it is completed.
  • Ensure all financial activities and processes adhere to relevant compliance standards and regulations.



Qualification:

  • Bachelor from an accredited Institution in Accounting and finance.


Experience:

  • From 2- 6 years of experience in related field.
  • knowing FIT system is a plus.
  • Working in brokerage sector is a plus.



Key Skills:

  • IFRS Accounting, especially related to trading securities.
  • Knowing the regulatory reporting related to Brokerage and Asset Management activities.
