Lead, Valuation & Planning

Job Purpose

Valuation and Planning Lead will play a key role in developing, monitoring, and analyzing business plans and budgets. Along with Investment Valuation of existing company portfolio and new prospects.


Accountabilities

•Initiate and coordinate of the annual business planning cycle, working closely with department heads and stakeholders.

•Co-develop a timeline and roadmap for the planning process, ensuring key milestones and deadlines are met.

•Gather and consolidate inputs from various departments to create a comprehensive and cohesive business plan.

•Review and analyze business plans submitted by subsidiaries, ensuring alignment with overall organizational objectives.

•Collaborate with the Asset Management team to:

•Provide the executive management with a recommendation and financial insights on the subsidiaries Business Plan.

•Monitor the performance of subsidiaries against their business plans, identify risks, and propose corrective actions.

•Conduct regular assessment of the company’s existing assets and assess new prospects.

•Collaborate with department heads and senior management to develop the annual budget

•Consolidate the departmental budgets and monitor the actual spending against budget to ensure control of sectional budget expenditures.

•Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and decision-making processes.

•Develop, maintain and review complex financial models to forecast cash flows, revenue projections, expenses, and capital requirements for existing and potential investments.

•Perform comprehensive financial analysis and due diligence on potential investment opportunities.

•Collaborate with executive management and stakeholders to develop investment strategies aligned with the company's strategic objectives and risk profile.

•Assist in the preparation of management presentations and provide financial insights for executive meetings.

•Other duties as assigned


Reports to

•Head of Valuation and Planning


Experience & Qualification

•Bachelor's degree is required, CFA or equivalent professional certificates are preferable

•Over 7 years experience in Business Planning, Budgeting and Investment Valuation.

•Strong understanding of energy market developments and future opportunities

•Excellent communication and people skills including experience in managing external stakeholders including clients, investors, sellers and banks

•Ability to think critically, analyze data, and solve complex problems

•Strong Financial Modeling, and mastery in Excel

•Proficient Verbal and Written Communication
