We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team in Muscat, Oman. As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring high-quality service, and maintaining a positive work environment for the staff. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a passion for the food and beverage industry.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all areas of the restaurant, including front-of-house, back-of-house, and administrative functions
- Ensure high standards of customer service and guest satisfaction are consistently met
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize profitability and minimize operational costs
- Recruit, train, and supervise staff members, providing ongoing support and feedback
- Create and maintain a positive work environment, fostering teamwork and cooperation among the staff
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the restaurant
- Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control to ensure adequate supply and minimize waste
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional and timely manner
- Coordinate with the culinary team to develop and update menus, ensuring variety and high-quality offerings
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and ensure compliance with licensing laws and other statutory regulations
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role in the food and beverage industry
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team
- Strong understanding of restaurant operations, including budgeting, financial analysis, and cost control
- Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable dining experiences
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and resolve conflicts with professionalism
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities, with attention to detail
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards, along with relevant certifications
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or relevant field is preferred
