BTEC ICT Teacher The Sultan s School, Oman The Sultan s School seeks to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic BTEC ICT Teacher to join the school in August 2027, teaching primarily Level 2 BTEC ICT, with some potential GCSE-level teaching. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher with strong practical experience of delivering the BTEC ICT curriculum who understands its assessment requirements, vocational approach and the skills needed to help students succeed. The ability to also teach Level 2 Business would be an advantage, while previous experience teaching at GCSE level would also be helpful as there may be opportunities to teach some GCSE classes.

Desired Candidate Profile

We are looking for someone who: - Has previous experience teaching BTEC ICT, particularly at Level 2 - Has a strong understanding of BTEC assessment, delivery and vocational learning - Can inspire and engage students through practical, relevant ICT teaching - Can support students to achieve strong outcomes - Is confident adapting teaching to meet a range of student needs - Ability to teach Level 2 Business would be an advantage but is not essential - Previous GCSE teaching experience would be helpful - Is collaborative, culturally aware and committed to the wider life of the school

Requirements: Minimum 2 years post-qualifying teaching experience; Bachelor s degree closely related to your teaching subject; recognised teaching qualification such as PGCE, QTS or equivalent; under 60 years of age due to visa restrictions.
