Position: E&I Shift In-Charge

We are looking for an experienced E&I Shift In-Charge to manage the operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical and instrumentation systems in a bulk material handling/port environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance of electrical and instrumentation systems.
  • Handle operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of 11kV/440V substations with SCADA control.
  • Troubleshoot Siemens S7 PLC/DCS, SCADA, VFDs and industrial drives.
  • Handle maintenance, calibration and troubleshooting of field instruments, transmitters and flowmeters.
  • Handle F&G, FACP and CACP systems.
  • Supervise maintenance teams during shutdowns, breakdowns and emergency maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot stackers, reclaimers, conveyors, wagon loaders, silos and ship loaders.
  • Maintain SAP work orders, maintenance records and calibration reports.
  • Coordinate with operations and control-room teams to ensure smooth equipment performance.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE procedures, PTW, risk assessments and safety standards.
  • Support maintenance planning, spare parts management and technical procurement.

Desired Candidate Profile

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • B.E./B.Tech in Electrical & Electronics/Electrical Engineering with 7 10 years of relevant experience, OR Diploma in Electrical & Electronics/Instrumentation with 10 13 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in Electrical & Instrumentation maintenance, automation and industrial/port environments.
  • Hands-on experience with PLCs, SCADA, VFDs, substations and field instrumentation.
  • Knowledge of Profibus, Profinet and Modbus is preferred.
  • Experience with bulk material handling equipment such as stackers, reclaimers, conveyors and ship loaders is highly preferred.

Preferred Industry: Ports, Bulk Material Handling, Mining, Cement, Steel, Power Plant or Heavy Industrial Maintenance.
