Provide technical support to staff and students, ensuring timely resolution of IT issues. Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktop computers, laptops, printers, projectors, and other IT equipment. Install, update, and maintain operating systems, software applications, and educational platforms. Support and maintain wired and wireless network infrastructure to ensure reliable connectivity. Provide technical support for Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other school information systems. Maintain computer laboratories, interactive displays, smart boards, and audiovisual equipment. Assist in implementing data backup, cybersecurity, and information security procedures. Monitor IT systems, diagnose hardware and software issues, and perform preventive maintenance. Manage user accounts, passwords, and access permissions in accordance with school policies. Maintain accurate documentation of technical issues, maintenance activities, and IT inventory. Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for equipment maintenance and technical support. Support the implementation of new technologies and IT projects across the school. Ensure compliance with school policies, safeguarding requirements, health and safety regulations, and IT security standards.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. Professional IT certifications are preferred.
- A valid IELTS certificate with an overall band score of at least 6.0 is required.
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience in Information Technology and technical support.
- Experience in troubleshooting and maintaining computers, printers, networks, and IT equipment.
- Experience working in an educational institution or international school is preferred.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Experience in computer hardware and software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Good understanding of networking concepts, including LAN/WAN, switches, routers, and wireless access points.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace administration.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
