Roles & Responsibilities

Nama Water Services (Oman Water and Wastewater Services Company) is pleased to announce a "Training for Employment" , in collaboration with its contracted companies that offer permanent job opportunities in the water and wastewater sector.

Job Purpose

The CCB Functional Support role is responsible for providing functional and operational support for the CCB system, ensuring smooth day-to-day system operations, assisting users, and supporting business processes through effective system usage and coordination with technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide functional support for CCB system users and ensure smooth system operation.
  • Handle user inquiries, incidents, and service requests related to the system.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving functional and basic system issues.
  • Support users in system navigation, data entry, and transaction processing.
  • Monitor system usage and report issues or irregularities to relevant teams.
  • Coordinate with technical teams for escalation and resolution of complex issues.
  • Support system testing, upgrades, enhancements, and implementation activities.
  • Maintain user manuals, documentation, and support procedures.
  • Ensure data accuracy and proper system usage across departments.
  • Assist in training new users and supporting onboarding activities.

Working Conditions

Office-based work environment. Coordination with multiple departments and occasional extended support during system issues.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications

Bachelor s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience

Practical Experience: 0 (No prior work experience required)

Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Technical Skills

  • Basic understanding of enterprise systems (CCB system knowledge is an advantage).
  • Familiarity with system support and troubleshooting concepts.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new systems quickly.
  • Understanding of data entry and system workflows.

Soft Skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good problem-solving abilities.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work under supervision and follow procedures.
  • Teamwork and customer service mindset.
