The project:

The programme includes the development of a state-of-the-art port facility with the capacity to process millions of tonnes of bulk cargo annually, incorporating marine infrastructure, landside logistics, transportation links, utilities, and operational facilities. Scheduled for completion later this decade, the project represents one of the region's most significant port and industrial infrastructure investments.

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a complex, large-scale development that will play a pivotal role in supporting economic diversification, industrial growth, and global supply chain connectivity. Candidates will have the chance to work alongside multidisciplinary teams in a dynamic environment, helping to shape a strategic piece of infrastructure with long-term regional impact.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Review and assure the final design of marine structures (jetties, quays, piling, navigation aids).
• Ensure all designs are compliant with contract requirements, technical standards, and constructability needs.
• Provide technical oversight and assurance ahead of site execution.
• Works collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.

You’ll need to have:

• Registered engineer with a degree in Civil Engineering (postgraduate in Marine Structures or equivalent preferred).
• 15+ years’ experience, including 10+ years in the final design of marine structures.
• Experience on at least two port design projects in a similar capacity.
• Proven consultancy background.
• Effective communicator with analytical capability and ability to engage, influence and build trusted stakeholder relationships.
