Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Planning Engineer located in Sohar. The Planning Engineer will be responsible for drafting and overseeing project schedules, monitoring and updating project progress, and ensuring resources are utilized effectively. The role includes coordinating with various teams to manage project timelines, analyzing project risks, and preparing reports for stakeholders. Ensuring adherence to project timelines and identifying opportunities for optimizing processes will also be key responsibilities.
Qualifications
Proficiency in project planning, scheduling, and time management tools Knowledge of resource allocation, cost estimation, and budgeting Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Excellent communication and team coordination skills Familiarity with governing regulations and standards in mechanical and civil engineering Previous experience in project management or engineering roles, ideally within industrial or infrastructure projects Educational background in Engineering or a related field Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6 or MS Project is an advantage Experience working in a port or free zone area is a plus
