Job Title: Human Resources Business Consultant Location: Muscat, Sultanate of Oman Reports To: Founder / Director Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary The Human Resources Business Consultant will be responsible for leading student advisory services, managing counsellor teams, driving student recruitment, and ensuring high-quality guidance for local and international higher education placements. This role combines student consulting, operations management, partnerships, and business growth. Key Roles & Responsibilities1. Student Counselling & Academic Advisory Provide end-to-end academic and career counselling to students for undergraduate, postgraduate, and professional programs. Assess student profiles and recommend suitable courses, universities, and countries. Guide students through application processes, documentation, SOPs, and interviews. Stay updated on global education trends, admission requirements, and visa regulations.2. Business Development & University Partnerships Build and maintain strong relationships with universities, colleges, and international education partners. Negotiate commissions, agreements, and collaboration terms with institutions. Represent the company at education fairs, school visits, and networking events. Identify new markets, services, and growth opportunities.3. Team Management & Training Recruit, train, mentor, and supervise educational counsellors and support staff. Set performance targets (KPIs) for counsellors and monitor productivity. Conduct regular training on admissions, visa updates, ethics, and sales techniques. Ensure high service quality and professional conduct across the team.4. Operations & Process Management Oversee daily counseling operations and workflow efficiency. Ensure accurate record-keeping of student applications and CRM data. Maintain compliance with legal, ethical, and institutional policies. Develop and improve SOPs for admissions, counseling, and visa processing.5. Sales, Marketing & Revenue Growth Drive student enrollments and revenue through effective counseling and sales strategies. Collaborate with the marketing team on campaigns, seminars, school visits, and digital lead generation. Track conversion ratios from leads to enrollments. Prepare monthly sales and performance reports.6. Client Relationship & Retention Ensure excellent customer experience from inquiry to enrollment and beyond. Handle escalations, complaints, and complex student cases professionally. Develop long-term relationships with students and parents for referrals.7. Compliance & Risk Management Ensure all counseling and recruitment activities comply with local regulations and international partner guidelines. Prevent fraud, misrepresentation, and unethical recruitment practices. Keep updated on visa policies and embassy requirements. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s or master’s degree in education, Business, Management, or related field.5–9+ years of experience in education consulting, student recruitment, or international admissions. Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. Deep knowledge of study destinations such as UK, USA, Canada, Australia, Europe, etc. Ability to work under targets and manage revenue-driven operations. Proficiency in CRM systems, MS Office, and reporting tools.
