Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an Academic Supervisor located in Muscat. The Academic Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the academic programs, providing support to teachers, monitoring student performance, and ensuring the implementation of school policies. Additional responsibilities include curriculum planning, conducting teacher training sessions, evaluating teaching effectiveness, and coordinating with parents to address students' needs. The role also involves ensuring adherence to educational standards and fostering an environment conducive to learning and growth.
Qualifications Strong leadership, organizational, and administrative skills to oversee academic operations effectively Experience with curriculum planning, teacher support, and educational program implementation Ability to review student performance and provide targeted interventions Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with teachers, students, and parents Expertise in providing teacher training and encouraging professional development Proficiency with educational assessment methods, policy compliance, and progress monitoring Prior experience working within the IGCSE and GED education systems is highly desirable Familiarity with inclusive education practices, particularly for children with special needs, is a plus Holds a Master's degree in Education or a related field; a teaching certification or related qualification will be advantageous
