Role Description

This is a full-time on-site Chef role at Hydrabadi Darbar in Sohar, Oman. The Chef will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of meals, developing menus that cater to customer preferences, maintaining high standards of food quality and hygiene, and managing kitchen staff. The role also includes ensuring compliance with food safety regulations, maintaining inventory levels, and overseeing kitchen operations to deliver exceptional culinary experiences.

Qualifications

Expertise in cooking techniques, recipe creation, and menu planning Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen sanitation practices Team management and leadership skills to supervise and train kitchen staff Inventory management and cost control experience Creativity and passion for delivering high-quality, authentic cuisine Ability to work under pressure and manage time efficiently Prior experience as a Chef in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly desirable Culinary certification or equivalent training is a plus Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
