Shift Supervisor – Donut Line

Position Overview
Phoenix Foods is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Shift Supervisor to oversee our donut production line in Oman. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional with a deep passion for working with dough, particularly yeast-raised dough, and extensive experience in managing automated or semi-automated donut lines. The Shift Supervisor will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient production processes and maintaining the highest standards of product quality.
Key Responsibilities
· Supervise daily operations of the donut production line to ensure a smooth workflow and consistent product quality.· Manage all aspects of production, including scheduling, dough mixing, proofing, frying, glazing, and packaging.· Ensure strict compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations, such as HACCP, GMP, and ISO standards.· Work collaboratively with the quality assurance, maintenance, and logistics teams to deliver efficient shift outcomes.· Train, guide, and motivate production team members to meet established output and quality goals.· Monitor and record the usage of materials, minimize wastage, and maintain accurate entries in the ERP system for production data and inventory control.· Troubleshoot any process-related issues promptly, implementing corrective and preventive actions as necessary.· Consistently maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment.
Candidate Profile
· Education: Minimum completion of 12th grade; a college degree is preferred.· Experience: Proven, hands-on experience with yeast-raised dough production and familiarity with automated or semi-automated donut lines.· Technical Skills: Competence in ERP systems for production entries, material consumption, and shift reporting; thorough understanding of food safety standards and compliance requirements.· Attributes: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills; passion for bakery production and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
Compensation & Benefits
· CTC: OMR 500 – 700, commensurate with experience and skill level.· Accommodation: Shared company-provided housing or a housing rent allowance (HRA) if accommodation is unavailable.· Transportation: Provided by the company.· Annual Leave: 30 days per year.· Airfare Allowance: Provided once every two years.· Medical: Company-provided medical reimbursement plan.
