Fusion Outsourcing Services is looking for a Field Operations Lead with extensive experience within the Oil & Gas industry. The project involves the development of new offshore platforms linked to the existing facilities, installation of subsea pipelines and debottlenecking of surface facilities. All these activities could be executed across several international sites (Doha, India & Oman). Projects will require complex interfaces with other entities and several projects could be handled in parallel.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES:
· To guarantee the implementation of a quality policy ensuring the Safety, Operability, Maintainability and Reliability of new production facilities.
· To ensure integration of the new platform and equipment and to cover all Operations within projects, including process and flow assurance studies, reliability & availability, and maintainability studies as appropriate.
o Ensure that HSE is given the highest priority.
o Ensure that the newly designed platforms conform to company standards.
o Interface with the Commissioning Site Lead to define handover / trigger points for commissioning of (sub) systems.
o Ensures adequate chemical injection plan for new facilities (when applicable)
o Review the Safety Engineering deliverables and participates to reviews as required.
o Act as a single focal point for Operability/Maintainability studies and 3D model reviews.
o Identify any integration actions to conduct prior handover of new facilities.
o Through lessons learnt ensure application of continuous improvements to future projects.
o FOPS focal point for SimOps development.
o Through lessons learnt leads the implementation of Change Proposal Notifications (CPN’s) to ensure that these are applied into project design.
o Development of EPS (Early Production Schemes) to accelerate First Oil recovery from newly delivered wells.
o Defines high-level incremental manning estimates (for on and offshore)
o Provision of fit-for-purpose design by Contractor that is constructible and that meets operational requirements and has low maintenance & running costs.
o Minimizing shortfalls during MP installation / integration scopes.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
· To be successful in this role, a Bachelor of Science (BSc) or equivalent degree in Engineering is required.
· Senior Operations profile with Field experience and previous experience gained in Offshore Operations and Production Management positions with minimum 10+ years of experience.
· Sound understanding of Production, Process and Flow Assurance Engineering, Reliability, Operability and Maintainability Engineering.
· Excellent English communication and leadership skills along with good analytical skills are required.
· Experience in stakeholder/Shareholder communication and management.
· Ability to work on projects in a complex and multicultural environment.
· Candidates should be available for frequent missions on and offshore - H2S OPITO and T-BOSIET training are required.
· The position will be based across Doha, India & Oman locations for Detailed Engineering/Construction. Offshore visits will also be needed during the offshore execution phase.
