We are seeking for a Chinese Chef de Partie to overlook the culinary operations of our Chinese Restaurant - Ruby Wu’s .
Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities
- Meet and exceed customer service and team member expectations by providing Yes I Can! Service and teamwork.
- Assist in the planning of menus and recipes.
- Prepare working station, mis-en-place, check working set-up and mis-en-place of assigned staff.
- Monitor and control the cleanliness of the kitchen areas and equipment.
- Supervise all food preparation, production and presentation to ensure consistency in food quality in accordance with the hotel’s standard operating procedures and food safety and hygiene standards.
Requirements
- Expertise in Chinese Cuisine (Wok Skills) and Chinese Restaurant Operations. Certification in ‘Chinese Food Preparation’ would be an added advantage.
- Minimum 3/ 4 years in the same position in a 4/5 star hotel.
- Good command of English Language
- Able to work under pressure in a fast paced, dynamic and challenging work environment.
- Pleasing personality, courteous and friendly.
Basic Salary QR.2200/- + Free sharing accommodation and free food in staff cafeteria
