Information Technology Audit Assistant Manager

Information Technology Assistant Audit Manager is responsible for assisting the technology internal audit function through ensuring that the company and its employees are complying with regulatory requirements, internal policies, procedures, and best practice.


Responsibilities:


• Plan and execute day-to-day activities of technology audit engagements from planning,

fieldwork, reporting and follow-up on audit findings.

• Identify and assess IT control weaknesses, recommending improvements to enhance security

and efficiency.

• Analyze IT processes and procedures, evaluating their effectiveness in achieving business

objectives.

• Prepare clear, concise, and well-documented audit reports with actionable recommendations.

• Communicate audit findings and recommendations effectively to IT management and senior

leadership.

• Stay up to date on relevant IT standards, PCI-DSS requirements and frameworks (COBIT, ITIL,

ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework) and incorporate them into audits.

• Assist with the development and implementation of the annual IT audit plan.

• Experienced in Data Analytics using CAAT tools (SQL, IDEA, ACL, Python, R+, Power BI, etc.)


Qualifications:


• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field (CPA or

CISA is preferred).

• Up to 5 years of experience in IT auditing or a related field.

• Strong understanding of IT controls, risk assessment methodologies, and audit best practices.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with

IT and business teams.
