Proposition Senior Specialist

To develop, finalise and execute all go-to-market activities related to consumer propositions, by being target driven and acting in a customer champion role. Adopts a “can do approach” to get things done, employing initiative, pragmatism, and common sense. Inspires and challenges others in the Company to think differently regarding to Vodafone's consumer market.




Key accountabilities and decision ownership

  • Champion customer centricity within the organisation.
  • Developing products to meet the market needs and managing the products through their lifecycle, from concept to delivery, as well as development budget and financial forecasting, to ensure they support to achieve the required revenue targets.
  • Responsible to develop new business development, identify new revenue streams, new products and services that suite the targeted customers and promotions to acquire new customers.
  • Develop Consumer Proposition roadmap and strategy.
  • Develop segmented propositions including a business case.
  • Assess market needs and identifies the opportunities to create new revenue streams and drive brand affinity.
  • Identifying and tracking market trends locally, regionally and globally using external or internal data sources
  • Lead excellence in go to market execution of new propositions
  • Monitor the targets of the propositions and evaluate and adjust the offering to meet the establish targets.
  • Drive proposition strategies (with products and pricing) and initiatives using insight to differentiate and behavioural economics to create value.
  • Work with CVM to deliver segments of one initiative.
  • Engage with Group and other Vodafone markets to identify potential new differentiated propositions for development.
  • Track and regularly report on segment performance, proposing improvement initiatives.
  • Improve sales and operational execution.
  • Improve customer experience.



Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

  • Differentiation and Innovation Orientated: Initiate new services to the market to generate new revenue streams and build brand affinity.
  • Proven ability to define segment opportunities and to create propositions.
  • Acumen related to pricing, communication and customer/channel investment decisions.
  • Ability to make critical decisions from key customer insights, developing branded claims and to prioritise and deliver propositions and customer experience roadmaps.
  • Marketing, preferably with additional experience in an operational (sales or customer operations) function.
  • Break out of traditional telco thinking into innovative customer driven solutions.
  • Quality of idea output – delivery of differentiated and innovative thinking
  • Excellent communication skills and being able to communicate complex subjects in a simple way.
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Excellent written and spoken English & Arabic.
  • Experience across different cultures.
  • Overall minimum of 6 years relevant experience.



Key Job indicators:

  • Grow market share (acquisition), Net Promoter Scores, brand consideration and commercial KPI’s (mainly revenue & penetration) for all defined segments.
  • Segment P&L, including customers, revenue, contribution margin, NPS and brand consideration and any critical segment development KPIs.
  • Quarterly revenue market share


Must have technical / professional qualifications:

  • University degree in Marketing
