We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Shipping Expeditor / Cargo Controller to join our team in the logistics sector within the oil and gas industry. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the timely and efficient movement of cargo, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and coordinating logistics activities to support operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the handling, shipping, and delivery of cargo, ensuring that all shipments are processed accurately and efficiently. Track and monitor cargo from origin to destination, addressing any issues or delays promptly.
• Coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, shipping carriers, and freight forwarders to ensure smooth and timely transportation of goods. Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders to resolve any logistics-related issues.
• Prepare and manage shipping and cargo documentation, including bills of lading, customs declarations, and shipping instructions. Ensure that all documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with regulatory requirements.

Skills

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in shipping expediting, cargo control, or logistics management, preferably within the oil and gas industry.
• Strong understanding of logistics and shipping processes, including international shipping regulations and customs requirements.
