We are seeking a talented and versatile 3D Artist & Animator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in creating high-quality 3D models, assets, props, environments, and animations for use in Unity game development. The 3D Artist & Animator will work closely with our development team to bring our VR projects to life with stunning visuals and engaging animations.
Responsibilities:
- Create and design high-quality 3D models, assets, props, and environments for use in Unity game development.
- Collaborate with the development team to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Ensure that all 3D assets meet technical requirements and performance targets for VR applications.
- Create animations for characters, objects, and environments using industry-standard animation tools.
- Optimize 3D models and animations for performance and efficiency in Unity.
- Work closely with the art director and other team members to maintain a consistent artistic vision and style throughout projects.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in 3D modeling, texturing, and animation.
Proven experience as a 3D artist, with a strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in 3D modeling, texturing, and animation.Proficiency in industry-standard 3D modeling and animation software, such as Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, or ZBrush.Experience with Unity Game Engine and a strong understanding of Unity's asset pipeline and import/export processes.Strong artistic and creative skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to create visually stunning and immersive 3D environments.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.Experience with rigging and skinning characters for animation is a plus.Experience with VR development and knowledge of VR best practices is a plus.Passion for video games, virtual reality, and interactive media.
