- Lead the mechanical BIM modeling process from design through construction stages, ensuring compliance with project requirements and BIM standards.
- Manage and coordinate mechanical BIM models with architectural, structural, and other MEP disciplines to resolve clashes and ensure constructability.
- Develop, review, and maintain Revit families, project templates, and coordinate site setup files.
- Perform clash detection and coordination using Navisworks or similar tools; prepare and distribute clash reports.
- Oversee BIM quality control and validation for mechanical models, ensuring accuracy and completeness up to LOD 400/500.
- Collaborate closely with offshore teams and project managers to support project delivery plans and BIM guidelines.
- Provide technical support and training to junior BIM engineers and project personnel.
- Prepare project documentation including drawings, specifications, schedules, and submittal logs.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors to address BIM-related queries and RFIs.
- Maintain BIM revision logs and ensure proper documentation and version control.
- Support quantity take-offs and material planning based on BIM models.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.Minimum 6-9 years of professional experience in mechanical BIM engineering, preferably with international projects.Strong expertise in Autodesk Revit for mechanical systems, including advanced family creation and model management.Proficient in BIM coordination workflows, clash detection (Navisworks), and BIM standards (ISO 19650).Experience with mechanical systems design (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection) and integration in BIM models.Familiarity with US building codes and standards is a plus.Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, to coordinate with US-based clients and teams.Ability to lead and mentor BIM teams, manage multiple models, and ensure high-quality deliverables.Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.Knowledge of additional software such as AutoCAD, Navisworks, and BIM 360 is an advantage.Willingness to work from our Dokki office with flexible coordination hours to align with US time zones.
