Key Accountabilities 

• Identify and assess areas of significant business risk.
• Review company’s processes, identifying anomalies, and reporting any issues found to management.
• Implement best audit and business practices in line with applicable internal audit statements.
• Able to create an audit plan.
• Develop recommendations and formulate cost saving actions.
• Conduct follow-up audits
• Identify and reduce all business and financial risks through effective implementation and monitoring of controls.
• Conduct ad hoc investigations into identified or reported risks.
• Oversee risk-based audits covering operational and financial processes.
• Ensure complete, accurate and timely audit information is reported to Management and/or Risk Committees.
• Overall supervision of planned annual audits.

 

 

Education: Bachelor Degree in Internal Auditing, Accounting/Finance, or Business AdministrationProfessional Certification:  CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) is a plusYears of Experience:  3-6 years.Language:  Arabic & EnglishQualifications Needed:Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision on unstructured assignmentsSuperior communication skills, including the ability to interface effectively with all levels of managementProblem solving ability and ability to resolve issues under tight time framesAbility to prioritize assignments/projects and multi-task within restricted time constraints.Ability to network and collaborate cross-functionallyProficient in computer skills including Microsoft Office suite, flowcharting/process mapping business activities.Interest and ability for math and financial systemsAbility to make independent decisions, staying objective at all timesAdvanced verbal and written communication skills.Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to multi-task.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Excellent documentation, communication and IT skills.
