Overseeing finance operations, financial planning and analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, looking to make improvements to procedures and controls.
Key Functions
Manage the Finance functions for Imagine.
· Develop strategies and procedures to reduce financial risk & improve financial efficiencies & profit.
- Manage accounting, budget, cash flow and payroll functions.
- Maintain accurate & timely accounting records to comply with internal and external reporting purposes.
- Harmonise and maintain monthly P&L reporting by division and for Imagine.
- Develop expenses policy and ensure adherence.
- Ongoing monitoring of aged debtors and creditors and follow up outstanding balances as required.
- Support the Managing Director and budget holders with the annual budget setting process.
- Ensure any external audits are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Develop external relationships with auditors, solicitors, bankers and other statutory organisations.
- Oversee all Imagine suppliers and services.
Provide appropriate management feedback and reports.
· Weekly SOA. Monthly P&Ls, General Ledger, Journal. Annual accounts for audit.
Skills
- 5+ years in finance role.
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Strong technical accounting knowledge
- Experience of AP, AR & coordinating annual audit.
- Strong organizational skills. Some HR knowledge would be an advantage.
- Business proficiency in Finance Software (SAP, QuickBooks, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- English Speaking, Arabic an advantage.
