Are you a data-driven problem solver with a passion for optimising business processes? We are currently seeking an additional Business Analyst to join our growing the team in Altrincham! As a business analyst you'll work within our organisation, helping to manage, change and plan for the future in line with their goals. You'll need to understand the current organisational situation, identify future needs and create solutions to help meet those needs, usually (but not always) in relation to information and software systems. What you’ll be doing:

  • Help our users resolve technical issues with the various software solutions on a day-to-day basis
  • Be involved in various projects (mainly IT) writing the business specifications, creating matrix’s where necessary and helping the business make the right decision on new systems or development needs.
  • Communicate with internal colleagues to understand the needs of departments and the organisation as a whole
  • Work with external stakeholders to understand and investigate feedback into the service, function, or product provided
  • Identify the processes and information technology required to introduce your recommendations
  • Gain agreement, usually from senior management, of the best method of introducing your recommendations to the business
  • Communicate the benefits of your recommendations across departments and help to address any uncertainty and concern
  • Produce written documentation to support your work, report on your findings and to present to stakeholders when necessary
  • Support staff and teams in making your recommended changes, including helping to resolve any issues
  • Ensure plans are made and processes are created to evaluate the impact of the changes made, including taking responsibility for overseeing and reporting on this evaluation.
To be considered, you need:
  • 3 – 5 years previous experience working as a Business Analyst in any industry
  • Energetic, passionate and driven with a ‘can-do’ attitude
  • Problem solving and decision-making ability
  • Delivery focused and not easily distracted
  • Proven ability to work independently and with initiative to tight deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
  • The ability to plan, organize, schedule and co-ordinate multiple tasks to achieve objectives
  • Financial background preferred
  • Knowledge of Excel and Visio desirable
  • Recruitment background desirable
