Construction Project Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager with a minimum of 12 years of experience in the construction industry to lead and manage projects from inception to completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling all project activities to ensure delivery within budget, on schedule, and in accordance with quality, safety, and contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all phases of construction projects from mobilization to final handover.

• Develop and implement project execution plans, schedules, and budgets.

• Monitor project progress and ensure that milestones and deliverables are achieved on time.

• Manage project resources, including manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.

• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and government authorities.

• Review project drawings, specifications, and contract documents to ensure compliance.

• Monitor project costs and implement effective cost-control measures.

• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize delays and additional costs.

• Ensure compliance with quality standards, company procedures, and HSE requirements.

• Conduct regular progress meetings and provide detailed reports to senior management and stakeholders.

• Review and approve project schedules, procurement plans, and construction methodologies.

• Manage variations, claims, and contractual issues throughout the project lifecycle.

• Provide leadership, coaching, and technical guidance to project teams.

• Resolve technical and operational issues and make timely decisions to maintain project objectives.

• Ensure successful project completion, commissioning, and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.

• Minimum of 12 years of experience in construction projects, including at least 5 years in a Project Manager position.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Experience in building and infrastructure projects is highly preferred.

• PMP Certification is an advantage.

• Experience in GCC countries, preferably in Oman, is highly desirable.

• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.

• Thorough understanding of quality management systems and HSE requirements.
