Position Title: Electrical Supervisor
Location: Oman, with future transfer to offshore operations

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join a leading offshore operations team. The role involves supervising electrical installations, overseeing maintenance and commissioning activities, and ensuring safe and efficient operation of electrical systems across both greenfield and brownfield projects. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled electrical professional to take a lead role in a dynamic offshore environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise electrical maintenance and commissioning activities on offshore facilities
Ensure compliance with electrical safety rules and isolation procedures
Manage HV and LV power distribution systems, motor drives, UPS, switchgear, black-start systems, and emergency generators
Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams, including contractors, vendors, and field technicians
Assess and verify technician competence and ensure work quality meets project standards
Support development of operational procedures, start-up sequences, and documentation for commissioning and maintenance
Identify and resolve technical problems efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to operations
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
COMPEX certification
Extensive offshore field experience in maintenance or supervisory electrical roles, ideally as REP, CEP, or Site Electrical Authority
Proven experience in HV and LV power systems, motor drives, UPS, EDG, switchgear, and related electrical equipment
Strong understanding of electrical isolations, safety rules, and risk management processes (HAZID, HAZOP, JSA, Pre-Startup Safety Reviews)
Experience with both greenfield and brownfield commissioning projects
Excellent problem-solving skills, verbal and written communication, and ability to interact effectively with all levels of personnel
