Job Responsibilities

• Provide expert legal advice and guidance to various business units within Genetco.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts to ensure compliance with legal standards and company policies.
• Ensure that all business operations adhere to relevant laws and regulations.
• Manage legal risks by identifying potential issues and providing proactive recommendations.
• Collaborate with external legal counsel when necessary for specialized advice.
• Conduct legal research and stay updated on new legislation and regulatory changes affecting the company.
• Assist in resolving disputes and managing litigation processes effectively.
• Develop and conduct training sessions on legal policies and compliance for staff members.
• Prepare legal documents and reports for senior management and stakeholders.

Skills

Essential Qualifications

• Law degree (LLB or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
• Licensed to practice law in Oman or a relevant jurisdiction.
• Strong understanding of corporate, commercial, and regulatory law.

Desired Experience

A minimum of 6 to a maximum of 15 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in a corporate or commercial legal setting. Experience in the Engineering, MEP, or Facilities Management sectors is highly desirable.
