We are seeking a skilled male Waiter/Food Runner/Cleaner for our prestigious client in Muscat, Oman. The Waiter/Food Runner/Cleaner will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to guests, ensuring food and beverages are delivered in a timely and accurate manner, and maintaining the cleanliness of the dining area, kitchen, and other customer-facing spaces. This role requires excellent communication, multitasking, and customer service skills to create an outstanding dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:1. Waiter/Waitress Responsibilities:- Greet and seat guests in a warm and friendly manner.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
- Provide recommendations based on the menu and dietary preferences.
- Ensure that guests receive their orders promptly and according to specifications.
- Deliver food and beverages to the table and ensure guests are satisfied with their meals.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and professionally.
- Upsell food and beverage items to enhance the guest experience.
- Process payments and manage cash transactions.
- Maintain knowledge of the menu, including specials, allergens, and dietary restrictions.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the dining area.
2. Food Runner Responsibilities:- Collect food orders from the kitchen and deliver them to the correct table.
- Ensure food is presented in a neat and aesthetically pleasing manner.
- Assist in ensuring food safety by adhering to proper handling and hygiene standards.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management regarding food orders.
- Assist with setting up and clearing tables as needed.
- Ensure that guests are served promptly and courteously.
- Monitor and ensure all dishes are delivered at the correct temperature.
3. Cleaner Responsibilities:- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the dining area, including floors, tables, chairs, and other furniture.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms and other common areas as needed.
- Assist in the cleaning of kitchen areas, including dishwashing and proper disposal of waste.
- Refill and organize condiments, napkins, and other supplies.
- Ensure all food preparation areas are kept clean and organized, complying with health and safety regulations.
- Empty trash bins and dispose of waste in a safe manner.
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors as necessary.
RequirementsSkills and Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous ( 1-3 years experience) in a waiter, food runner, or cleaning role preferred .
- Good English speaking skill (mandatory).
- Customer Service: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Communication: Good verbal communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
- Multitasking: Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy trays, and walk around the restaurant efficiently.
- Attention to Detail: Ensure cleanliness and orderliness always, with attention to food presentation and hygiene.
- Teamwork: Ability to work well with a team and contribute to a positive work environment.
- Flexibility: Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Duty: 9 hours per day 6 days a week (with one hour break)
