Role Purpose:

As BSS Application Database Administrator, you will design, develop, and maintain software and applications database that meet our business needs. You will work on both front-end and back-end development projects.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

· Administer and maintain CRM, ERP, Website billing, and IVR/call center systems.

· Administer and maintain Awasr Website services.

· Solve issue escalated from layer 1 BSS helpdesk as layer 2 agent.

· Troubleshoot and resolve system issues promptly to minimize downtime.

· Monitor system performance, ensure data accuracy, and optimize processes.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement system upgrades and enhancements.

· Maintain documentation and provide training to end-users as needed.

· Provide technical support for BSS applications to end-users.

· Troubleshoot software issues and liaise with development teams for solutions.

· Document and maintain knowledge base articles.

· Assist in user training and onboarding.

· Collaborate with vendors for application updates and patches.

· Test and debug software to ensure quality and performance.

· Maintain and update existing software as needed.

· Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather software requirements.

· Design, implement, and maintain databases that support BSS applications.

· Perform regular database backups, restoration, and disaster recovery planning.

· Optimize database performance through indexing, query optimization, and other tuning techniques.

· Implement automation scripts and tools to streamline routine tasks such as backups, data purging, and maintenance activities.

· Explore opportunities for process automation to improve efficiency.

· Conduct performance testing for BSS applications to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement.

Collaborate with development teams to implement performance enhancements.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in System Application and Database Administration.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
