Job Summary The Business Development lead will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and promoting NRTS’s ICT solutions and technology services in the Oman market. The role requires excellent commercial acumen, strong relationship management skills, and a deep understanding of the ICT industry.
Key Responsibilities Business Growth & Strategy Identify, source, and develop new business opportunities in target sectors such as government, enterprise, telecom, logistics, oil & gas, and others. Develop and execute effective sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to drive sales strategies. Customer Relationship Management Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers (CIOs, CTOs, IT Managers, Operations Heads). Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals. Deliver compelling product/service presentations to prospective clients. Solution Selling Understand customer business needs and align them with NRTS’s technology solutions (IVMS, IoT, Cloud, Telemetry, Network Services). Collaborate with technical, pre-sales, and delivery teams to design tailored proposals. Lead commercial negotiations and finalize commercial terms with customers. Reporting & Coordination Prepare accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and business updates. Update CRM with customer interactions, opportunities, and progress. Work closely with marketing to support proposals, RFP responses, and promotional campaigns.
Qualifications & Skills Experience5+ years of business development / sales experience in the ICT or technology services industry. Proven record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth. Skills Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Excellent relationship building and consultative selling skills. Analytical mindset with strong commercial awareness. Confidence and ability to influence senior stakeholders. Technical Understanding Good understanding of ICT solutions such as cloud services, managed IT, networking, tracking systems, IoT, or related technologies. Education Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, Telecommunications, or a related field. Relevant certifications or sales training is an advantage.
