The
Segments Sales Manager - Qatar will have as main responsibilities:
- The incumbent will work to position the Eaton product line as a key supplier within the Oil & Gas, Utilities, Industrial and other market segment in Qatar
- The incumbent will be leading and be responsible for making sure that the business has the certifications and vendor approval process in place with all the key customers in Qatar
- The primary function of the incumbent is to manage the O&G, utility, industrial sales, mid to large turnkey projects, within Qatar
- The incumbent will have expert knowledge of the O&G, Utilities market and industry, technology, opportunities, problems, business drivers and competitors for this targeted segment and assigned customers.
- The role is expected to develop and sustain relationships with customers management, business units, central functions, and external partner.
- Introduce the End User/Segment approach and ensure good relations with selected accounts across Qatar with regular follow up on major opportunities :
- Manage the O&G, Utility, and Industry projects within Qatar for local/international key accounts.
- Work on Eaton’s image and Eaton product line as a key supplier within the O&G, Utilities, Industrial and other market segment in Qatar, and ensure Eaton products are added to AVL’s in these specialized segments.
- Lead the Eaton Electrical Sector EMEA sales strategy in Qatar with the Playing to Win strategies defined with the management for a focused set of key accounts and strategic partners and developing large projects in the Industry segment. Responsible for building the pipeline and closing revenue
- Deliver segment value proposition messages: Deliver the compelling story of why customers should do more business with Eaton rather than our competition. This message needs to be captured in sales presentations and collateral material as well as personally conveyed by the incumbent to our customers and to our selling resources.
- Lead and be responsible for making sure that the business has the certifications and vendor approval process in place with all the key customers in Qatar.
- Account selection: Work In agreement with country manager and MV ME leader to identify and target specific accounts. Clearly define the account strategy and penetration plan and help ensuring it is properly resourced.
- Spec-in capabilities: Build and develop strong relations with local and central application engineers that can get Eaton’s offers specified. Target and select the key specifiers and consultants in the target segment and develop and support the execution of an effective plan for getting Eaton specified for major electrical projects.
- Demonstrate tenacity in meeting customer's requirements together with an ability to influence both internally and externally to deliver an excellent service. Responsible for creating strong partner relationships for the ongoing projects
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in a related field (ideally Electrical Engineering) or equivalent experience
- Ideally between 10 -15 years combining projects sales, marketing and business development.
Skills
- Strong background in the O&G, Utilities market segment, or energy management
- Strong commercial experience in a relevant sector or vertical
- Experience or knowledge in industry/application of assigned key account preferred
- Previous major account selling experience required Must be an excellent team player
- Fluent in written and spoken English
