The bank actively participates in Infrastructure Development projects in the Sultanate of Oman, offering Project Finance for various expansion projects. With a focus on providing financial support to enterprises of all sizes, the bank also offers a range of Retail banking products and services.



Role Summary: This is a full-time on-site role for Assistant Manager IT (Information Technology), for candidates located in Muscat. The role involves overseeing of IT operations, managing system upgrade, implementation of various IT projects, ensuring data security and implementing technology strategies to support business.


Roles and responsibilities:

·        Complete Management and maintenance of All IT systems in the branch including all IT / Communication hardware, software applications. Includes implementation of new technologies/ software applications / upgrades as prescribed by Regulators / IBG Identifying and assessing compliance risk in all businesses / activities including in new products and services

  • Purchase of hardware/ software; Finalization of SLAs / AMCs; Co-ordination with all IT vendors , support personnel, outsourcing agencies; Implementation of IT Security Policy guidelines Assessing the impact of new laws, regulations and guidelines and work out adequate processes for compliance

·        IT Supervision for Alternate Channels- ATM & INB including Management of Customer Grievances related to Alternate Channels & Supervision of Reconciliation of Transactions pertaining to Branch ATM

·        Setting up & Maintenance of DR Site (b) Maintenance of Banks Website

·        Prompt Rectification of all Audit Observations / Irregularities related to assigned duties / responsibilities including IT Support for Conduct of Statutory Audit/ CBO Audit/ Internal Audit / Central Office Audit


Position requirements:  

·        Bachelor’s degree in information technology.

·        Relevant experience in banking industry

·        Knowledge of regulatory requirements and banking procedure.
