About the role
Underwriting and managing the Facultative Casualty and Miscellaneous Accident line of business while adhering to the department underwriting guidelines and ensuring to be in line with the corporate goals and strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Performing risk reviews together with pricing and structuring and conduct key negotiations where required.
- Maintaining risk registers/data.
- Portfolio management.
- Portfolio development.
- Strategy formation and budgeting/planning.
- Capability of cross functional collaboration/cross selling with other lines of business.
Desired Candidate Profile
Requirements
- 3 years or above experience preferably in the MENA region.
- Clear communication and negotiation abilities.
- Deep knowledge of insurance markets, legal frameworks, and macroeconomic trends.
- Certifications such as CPCU, ARe, ARM or CII qualifications.

المسؤوليات الرئيسية
- إجراء مراجعة المخاطر بالتعاون مع تسعير وهيكلة العقود، وإجراء المفاوضات الرئيسية عند الضرورة.
- الحفاظ على سجلات/بيانات المخاطر.
- إدارة المحفظة.
- تطوير المحفظة.
- تشكيل الاستراتيجية والميزنة/التخطيط.
- القدرة على التعاون عبر الوظائف المختلفة وبيع المنتجات المشتركة مع خطوط أعمال أخرى.
الملف الشخصي المرغوب للمرشح
المتطلبات
- خبرة 3 سنوات أو أكثر، ويفضل في منطقة الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا.
- قدرات تواصل ومفاوضات واضحة.
- معرفة عميقة بأسواق التأمين والإطار القانوني والاتجاهات الاقتصادية الكبرى.
- الشهادات المهنية مثل CPCU، ARe، ARM أو مؤهلات CII.
