Linnk Group is supporting a leading global technology organisation in the search for an experienced Commissioning Engineer to support the delivery of hyperscale Data Centre and Substation projects across the EMEA region.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on mission-critical infrastructure, overseeing the commissioning of complex electrical, mechanical and control systems while ensuring quality, safety and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities Lead and coordinate commissioning activities across multiple data centre projects. Manage commissioning vendors and contractors throughout pre-commissioning, commissioning and integrated systems testing. Review commissioning documentation to ensure compliance with project specifications, design intent and industry standards. Validate the installation and performance of critical infrastructure systems, including: High, Medium & Low Voltage Power Systems / Generators & UPS / HVAC & Chilled Water Systems / BMS & EPMSConduct commissioning audits and support issue resolution. Coordinate with internal stakeholders, consultants and contractors to ensure successful project delivery. Produce regular progress reports and maintain high-quality commissioning documentation.
What We're Looking For Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or related Engineering discipline. Previous experience commissioning critical infrastructure, data centres, substations or similar environments. Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical and control systems. Experience reviewing construction drawings, technical specifications and commissioning documentation. Knowledge of integrated systems testing and commissioning processes. Strong stakeholder management and project coordination skills. Willingness to travel across the EMEA region (typically 10–20%).
Desirable Experience Data Centre or mission-critical infrastructure projects. Electrical Design, Construction Project Management or Controls Engineering. Experience developing commissioning procedures and test scripts. Strong Microsoft Office skills.
