Roles & Responsibilities
We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to support maintenance operations and ensure smooth functioning of plant equipment and utilities in a fertilizer or petrochemical environment. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in mechanical maintenance along with exposure to desalination and utility systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and guide the technicians team to ensure reliable and uninterrupted plant operations.
- Prepare and implement preventive maintenance schedules for plant equipment and utility systems.
- Develop predictive maintenance plans to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for procurement and timely availability of maintenance materials and spares.
- Support the Head Maintenance & Mechanical in daily maintenance and operational activities.
- Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements for operational efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards, maintenance procedures, and statutory compliance.
- Maintain maintenance records and documentation through CMMS systems.
Candidate Profile
- Strong knowledge of mechanical maintenance in continuous process industries.
- Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and maintenance planning.
- Good leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural industrial environment.
Experience Required
- 9-12 years of experience in Maintenance Management within Fertilizer, Petrochemical, or similar process industries.
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Knowledge of rotating and static equipment maintenance.
- Understanding of utility systems and plant reliability practices.
- Familiarity with shutdown planning and maintenance optimization techniques.
