Roles & Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to support maintenance operations and ensure smooth functioning of plant equipment and utilities in a fertilizer or petrochemical environment. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in mechanical maintenance along with exposure to desalination and utility systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and guide the technicians team to ensure reliable and uninterrupted plant operations.
• Prepare and implement preventive maintenance schedules for plant equipment and utility systems.
• Develop predictive maintenance plans to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for procurement and timely availability of maintenance materials and spares.
• Support the Head Maintenance & Mechanical in daily maintenance and operational activities.
• Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements for operational efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards, maintenance procedures, and statutory compliance.
• Maintain maintenance records and documentation through CMMS systems.

Candidate Profile

• Strong knowledge of mechanical maintenance in continuous process industries.
• Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and maintenance planning.
• Good leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural industrial environment.

Experience Required

• 9-12 years of experience in Maintenance Management within Fertilizer, Petrochemical, or similar process industries.
• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Knowledge of rotating and static equipment maintenance.
• Understanding of utility systems and plant reliability practices.
• Familiarity with shutdown planning and maintenance optimization techniques.
