The Logistics Officer is accountable for overseeing the inbound and outbound operations and inventory management. S/He maintains communication with carriers, suppliers, warehouses, custom brokers and others involved in the shipping and delivery of goods. Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Control the reception of merchandise to the warehouse and follow up on inventory levels and damaged goods if any.
- Process insurance claims within the stipulated timeframe.
- Ensure the smooth fulfillment and delivery of all orders by coordinating between internal and external stakeholders.
- Update all transactions on the system and ensure data accuracy; daily allocation, goods receipt and defective booking. Report to stakeholders on any discrepancies.
- Manage outbound activities for customer orders, outbound shipments, follow up with clearing and forwarding agents and monitor the turnaround time (TAT).
- Manage KPI: repair TAT, reverse logistics TAT, order fulfilment ratio and TAT
- Coordinate with the CRM and logistics teams on invoicing and deliveries.
- Maintain the accuracy and integrity of all logistics information.
- Coordinate and arrange transportation of shipments to destination;
- Track shipments to ensure timely deliverables and update concerned accordingly.
- Cooperate with the sales and warehouse teams for smooth execution of shipments.
- Coordinate with clearing agents and customs to maximize efficiency in terms of time and quality; Study shipment routing and scheduling, consolidate freights and costs and report to direct manager.
- Verify customs documentations for inbound/outbound and transfer of ownership.
- Manage the stock movement through the warehouse management system.
- Perform monthly stock audits.
- Coordinate with the CRM, planning and credit teams for invoicing customer orders.
- Track & report: open repairs, defective return, same day repair, repair turnaround time, inventory pipeline, allocation report.
Position Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or any other related field.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience.
