Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive internal audit strategies and plans. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and organisational policies within the sector. Conduct risk assessments and identify areas for improvement Lead internal audit teams to deliver high-quality and timely audit reports. Provide recommendations for improving processes and controls within the organisation. Collaborate with senior management to address audit findings and implement corrective actions. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and regulatory requirements. Report directly to the board and provide insights on key financial and operational risks.

Desired Candidate Profile

A successful Internal Audit Director should have:

  • Experience within audit projects.
  • Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CIA.
  • Extensive knowledge of internal audit principles and practices.
  • Experience in the Distribution industry is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
