Public Relations & Business Development Specialist

Oman - Muscat Oman

We are looking for a full-time onsite Public Relations & Business Development Specialist, who will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic communication plans to enhance the company's brand image and facilitate business growth. This role requires a combination of public relations expertise and business development to effectively promote our products/services and forge strong relationships with key stakeholders.


  • Develop and execute comprehensive public relations strategies to build brand awareness and reputation.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists, bloggers, and influencers to secure positive coverage and press opportunities.
  • Monitor media coverage and industry trends to identify opportunities for proactive engagement and mitigate potential reputational risks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product development, to align PR initiatives with business objectives.
  • Lead the planning and execution of events, conferences, and tradeshows to showcase company products/services and engage with target audiences.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through strategic partnerships, alliances, and collaborations.
  • Prepare proposals, presentations, and pitches to effectively communicate the company's value proposition to potential clients and partners.


Skills

  • Applicants must currently be residing in Oman or should be able to relocate to Oman within one month.
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in related field, preferably in IT industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal and networking abilities, with a proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with PR tools and platforms.
  • Knowledge of business development principles and practices, including lead generation, negotiation, and contract management.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.
  • Flexibility to travel as needed.
