Project Control - Contracts Advisor
Experience Required: 12 years
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice and support on contract management, procurement, and project control activities for large-scale projects.
- Develop, review, and negotiate contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards.
- Monitor and control project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
- Collaborate with project managers, legal teams, and stakeholders to resolve contract-related issues and mitigate risks.
- Conduct contract performance evaluations and ensure adherence to terms and conditions.
- Prepare and maintain detailed project control reports, including cost forecasts, risk assessments, and progress updates.
- Support the development and implementation of project control processes and tools to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Ensure alignment between project objectives, contractual obligations, and stakeholder expectations.
Skills
Requirements:
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in project controls, contract management, or a related field.
- Project management experience and PMP (Project Management Professional) certification are mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of contract law, procurement processes, and project control methodologies.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Primavera, MS Project) and financial software.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to analyze complex data and provide actionable insights for decision-making.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the oil and gas, construction, or energy sectors.
- Familiarity with industry-specific contract types.
