Purpose of Role Provide legal advice and support to the Company on contractual, regulatory, corporate, and operational matters while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and internal governance requirements. Key Responsibilities Draft, review and negotiate contracts, agreements and legal documents. Provide legal advice and opinions to management on corporate and operational matters. Support compliance with applicable laws, regulations and internal policies. Assist in corporate governance activities, including board and committee documentation where required. Support the management of litigation, disputes and legal proceedings in coordination with external counsel. Review legal risks arising from business operations and recommend mitigation measures. Provide legal guidance on customer complaints, claims-related matters and dispute resolution. Monitor legal developments and regulatory changes affecting the business. Prepare legal reports, updates and presentations for management. Support the development and review of legal policies and procedures.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications

Master's Degree in Law (Mandatory).

Professional Certifications

Certifications in Governance, Compliance, Arbitration, Risk Management or Commercial Law are an advantage.

Experience

A minimum of 3 years of relevant practical legal experience acquired after obtaining a Master's Degree in Law. Professional experience within law firms, corporate legal departments, insurance companies, financial institutions, or commercial organizations. Demonstrated experience in litigation, contract drafting and review, dispute resolution, and legal advisory services. Experience in corporate governance and regulatory compliance will be considered an advantage.
