Sheet Mechanical Technician – Extrusion Line position,

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical problems in sheet extrusion and winder machines.

• Inspect and troubleshoot hydraulic circuits, including safety checks, routine faults, and corrective actions.

• Troubleshoot and maintain dryers, vacuum systems, and auxiliary equipment, including:

  • Air compressors

  • Air cooled chillers

  • Wrapping machines

  • Basic AHU

• Perform routine equipment maintenance and carry out preventive and corrective maintenance.

• Identify common mechanical faults and perform effective troubleshooting and repairs.

• Read, interpret, and understand mechanical drawings and equipment documentation.

Computer & Technical Skills

• Basic computer knowledge is required.

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including:

  • MS Word

  • MS Excel

  • MS PowerPoint

• SAP experience is highly preferred, particularly for maintenance-related activities such as work orders, and maintenance records.

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience with extrusion lines, preferably in sheet extrusion.

• Experience with SML Austria and EREMA extrusion machines is highly preferred.

• Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent technical qualification.

Language Skills

• English language proficiency is required, (written and spoken English).

Desired Candidate Profile

A technician who has worked directly on SML/EREMA sheet extrusion equipment and has strong hands-on experience in mechanical troubleshooting, hydraulics, preventive maintenance, and extrusion-line auxiliary systems.
