Roles & Responsibilities
Job Purpose:
Provides technical maintenance expertise pertaining to Maintenance Performance Management & strategies across RPI & Plastics designated sites and all related operations, under TL Performance Management & strategies Maintenance scope s, acting as team player for the timely and cost-effective maintenance of the RPI & Plastics assigned equipment and infrastructure during the execution of maintenance and minor projects, modifications in accordance with the technical standards to maintain the assets through: (1) Prepares maintenance performance reports for all RPI & Plastics facilities and advises improvements recommendations / plans; in order to support maintenance function to meet cost-effective, timely and efficient manner. (2) CAPEX & OPEX budget, monitoring and control (3) Conducts periodic inventory reports analysis, spots abnormalities in demand & supply reports findings.
The position will act in accordance with the Group s Mission, Vision, Values & Strategies, as well as, policies, guidelines and standards, supported by an IT Technology platform, HSE standards, Omani s government & other legal justifications, and best international practices in consonance with national objectives.

Performance Management & Strategies
Analysis of maintenance performance and initiates improvement / corrective actions.
Assist in developing draft for Functional KPIs.
Support in collecting Monthly progress updates, develop Stewardship report & assist to develop monthly Functional KPI scorecards On-time with Quality.
Develop special reports & Presentations on-demand as advised by Team Leader
Prepare, Analyze and Cascade Weekly Visibility Reports for all RPI & Plastics Plants.
Coordinate and align with maintenance departments to develop Maintenance Policies, Processes and Procedures and maintain documented.
Generate or assist in generation of any departmental reports as per management request, in a timely and accurate manner.
Budget
Provide support & Assistance in development of draft budget proposal as per guidelines received from finance Team (within time & quality submission).
Initiate budget requirements for all maintenance departments based on the scope/ volume of work.
Development of Monthly OpEx & CapEx Reports & submit to Team Leader for review.
Receive progress updates for CapEx projects from all Project Leaders & Compile data for PMO submission. (Progress & Cost)
Perform analysis for Maintenance Commitments & joint review with Execution teams for cleansing & control.
Budget reports, analysis to ensure that expense bookings are done under correct budget heads.
Conduct Analysis on Actual spent vs Solomon benchmark, develop strategies and action plans to improve in lagging areas (to next Quartile)
Focal point for Solomon studies regarding the maintenance function, leading the collection of data for the study inputs tables to be submitted to Operating Excellence team.
Reporting & Continuous Improvements
Prepare, Validate and issuance of periodic maintenance performance reports (daily, weekly, Bi-weekly, Monthly etc.)
Develop Performance reports and feedback in regard to maintenance performance, compliance monitoring to implemented work processes and issuance of recommendation to the execution teams.
Analysis of maintenance performance KPIs and identifying opportunities for improvements.
Maintain the maintenance department Policy, processes and procedures.
Budget reports and analysis to ensure that expense bookings are made under correct budget heads.
Monitoring the completion of MOCs under the maintenance function implementation and follow up with projects leaders on delays of implementation / closing.
Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of function / department systems, processes and practices, cost reduction and productivity improvement. (taking into consideration 'Industrial best practice')
Stakeholder
Conduct & chair periodic Staff meetings, prepare summary reports and provide daily updates on the performance of maintenance execution activities.
Regulatory & Compliance
Provide facilitation for external/ internal audits and follow-up of the action items assigned against maintenance function.
Education requirements
Minimum Qualification for this position is a degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Instrument Engineering or equivalent.
Language requirements
Excellent knowledge of written, read, and spoken English (required) | Arabic - Native (desirable)
Background and experience
5-8 years of relevant experience
Prior scheduling experience in a maintenance facility is a strong plus
Extensive experience in reporting, planning, and scheduling routine maintenance.
Expertise for budgeting and cost control.
Experience in planning techniques, scheduling & cost monitoring.
Experience in Performance management for maintenance & shutdown related jobs.
Experience in handling Maintenance Contracts and shutdown related jobs.
Background:
Knowledge in material specification, QA/QC, and international Codes & standards.
Knowledge of Budget / Estimation resources (internal and external) Cost Control
Knowledge of:
Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
Expertise in SAP- PM, MM & FM Module.
Primavera / Maximo / MS Project
Knowledgeable in HSE plans related to maintenance activities.
Knowledge in material specification, QA/QC, and international Codes & standards
Familiar with techniques for ensuring data integrity with various integrations of information/ reports
Understanding of Process (P&IDs / PFDs) & Engineering drawings and OEM manuals.
