Roles & Responsibilities

The Technical Coordinator is responsible for coordinating architectural, civil/structural, and MEP disciplines throughout the design and construction phases to ensure a fully integrated, clash-free, and buildable project. The role involves reviewing drawings, conducting technical coordination meetings, resolving design conflicts, and supporting project delivery in compliance with project requirements and applicable codes.

• Coordinate architectural, structural, and MEP designs to ensure consistency and constructability.

• Review drawings, specifications, and BIM models for interdisciplinary conflicts.

• Conduct and participate in technical coordination meetings with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.

• Identify, track, and resolve design clashes and technical issues.

• Coordinate service routes, shafts, equipment locations, and structural openings.

• Ensure architectural requirements are integrated with structural and MEP systems.

• Review shop drawings, material submittals, and technical submissions for compliance with project requirements.

• Support BIM coordination and clash detection activities using software such as Revit and Navisworks.

• Prepare coordination reports, meeting minutes, and action trackers.

• Monitor design changes and ensure updates are reflected across all disciplines.

• Liaise with site teams to resolve technical issues during construction.

• Ensure compliance with local authority regulations, building codes, and project specifications.

• Assist in project planning, scheduling, and technical documentation management.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.

• 5+ years of experience in multidisciplinary building projects.

• Strong understanding of architectural, structural, and MEP systems.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, and Microsoft Office.

• Knowledge of BIM coordination processes and clash detection.

• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

• Experience in commercial, residential, hospitality, or mixed-use developments.

• Familiarity with international building codes and standards.

• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and project priorities.

• Strong technical review and construction coordination capabilities.
