The project:
Manages and/or leads the implementation and delivery of a range of PMO and Project controls to support commissions. Leads and guides team members within the PMO and Planning Centre of Excellence and assigned Hub as required.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Demonstrable portfolio/program management experience working Client side in a PMO environment.
- Lead controls team, comprising of Client and Mace employees for performing the following functions: Document Control, Master schedule development and monitoring, Dependency identification and interface management, Cost and earned value reporting, program performance reporting.
- Implement PMO processes applicable to program controls, develop KPIs to measure performance of Controls functions and lead continual improvement actions.
- Create Program Controls onboarding packs, lead onboarding workshops for all Consultants/Contractors and ensure those are formally communicated to all supply chain (consultants/contractors/developers).
- Plan and conduct regular audits to assess compliance of supply chain (consultants/contractors/developers) with the Client’s program controls processes and procedures and put in place plans for improvement.
- Conduct hands on training workshops for Client staff and the supply chain on any of the program controls processes and procedures as required.
- Work with digital team to establish program master data set and ensure implementation of program architecture.
- Develop and implement process/procedure for change management with respect to programme controls functions and maximize efficiency.
- This will be a Client facing role and will be expected to present to the SLT, project/program teams and their supply chain.
You’ll need to have:
- Proven leadership in PMO and Project Controls across complex construction programmes.
- Strong expertise in risk tools, analytics, and reporting technologies.
- Professional qualifications with progress toward chartered status and industry accreditation.
- Relevant degree and experience delivering PMO services within construction or consultancy.
