About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Claims Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing medium to high complexity claims, ensuring accurate processing, and providing excellent client service. You will work closely with underwriters, insurers, clients, and claims advocates to resolve claims efficiently and in accordance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and understand incoming documentation and new claims notifications, identifying potential issues and seeking guidance or referring to Claims Advocates as needed.
• Identify affected policies or coverage areas for medium value claims from middle-market to large clients, validating and clarifying details to ensure proper claims processing.
• Determine coverage for medium complexity claims by leveraging policy knowledge and liaising with underwriters and insurers to manage claims effectively.
• Review escalated claims issues, provide resolutions, or refer to Claims Advocates for technical expertise to ensure correct application of claims policies and calculations.
• Liaise with clients to resolve claim-related issues or service concerns of moderate complexity.
• Communicate with clients, colleagues, third parties, and insurers to provide status updates, respond to information requests, and resolve queries.
• Generate and maintain accurate claims reports to support record-keeping and distribution.

• Experience in claims processing or a related insurance role is preferred.
• Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to seek guidance when necessary.
