New opportunity has become available as Assistant Director of HR with a international luxury resort group based in a remote location in Oman.
As Assistant Director of HRyou’ll drive the implementation of the Human Resources strategy covering manpower planning, payroll & benefits, training & induction, & employee engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Lead recruitment, succession planning, and career development initiatives.
- Conduct employee satisfaction surveys and implement improvement actions.
- Oversee host facilities, accommodation, and recognition programs.
- Partner with the Sustainability Manager on social and environmental initiatives.
- Manage training programs to ensure effective talent development.
- Monitor HR performance metrics, budgets, and compliance with all legal and financial standards.
- Support profitability and operational excellence through strong people practices.
Requirements:
- Possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, or Business Management, plus 4 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- More than five years’ experience in a similar human resources role within luxury resorts preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Computer programs; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc., and Human Resources/payroll systems.
- Must have an excellent command of written and spoken English.
- Able to live in a remote location for extended periods of time and travel on single status.
