We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Government Relations Specialist to join our dynamic team in the retail and wholesale sector. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in managing and enhancing our relationships with government entities, ensuring compliance with regulations, and advocating for our company’s interests. Responsibilities:

- Organize and participate in meetings, conferences, and events to represent the company’s interests before government stakeholders.
- Provide guidance and training to staff on government relations processes and compliance requirements.
- Develop strategies to proactively engage with government entities to support the company’s initiatives and projects.
- Prepare reports and presentations for management on government relations activities and outcomes.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to government relations and advocacy.
Preferred Candidate:
- Proven experience in government relations, public affairs, or a similar role, preferably within the retail or wholesale sector.
- Strong understanding of local laws, regulations, and government processes in Oman.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to advocate effectively for organizational interests and influence decision-making.
