The Mixing Manager is responsible for all aspects of the juice mixing and batching
process, ensuring the production of high-quality, safe, and consistent juice products.
This role involves managing a team of mixing operators, overseeing inventory of raw
materials, maintaining equipment, and implementing best practices for sanitation and
quality control. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food or beverage
manufacturing, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of food safety
regulations.
* Bachelor degree in Food Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
preferred. Relevant experience may be substituted for a degree.
* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a food or beverage manufacturing
environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
* Proven experience in mixing, blending, and batching processes, preferably with liquid
food products.
* Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, and other food safety and sanitation standards.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to read, interpret, and follow recipes and technical documents with precision.
* Proficiency with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and inventory
management software.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
Working Conditions:
* The role requires working in a plant environment with exposure to noise, varying
temperatures, and food ingredients.
* Physical demands include standing for long periods, walking, and occasionally lifting
up to 50 lbs.
* May require flexibility to work some evenings, weekends, or on-call shifts as needed
