Assistant Manager- Operations - for MNSPC

We are currently looking to hire a “Assistant Manager - Operations”, the job holder will be responsible to support the Operations Manager in achieving company business targets by coordinating daily operational tasks, monitoring project progress, and ensuring that workflows align with company standards. This role focuses on improving service levels, facilitating cross-departmental collaboration, and assisting in project execution within the Oman market.
The Assistant Operations Manager ensures smooth operation by maintaining quality standards, supporting the implementation of strategic initiatives, ensuring adherence to client TATs (Turnaround Times), SLAs (Service Level Agreements), regulatory reporting requirements, and assisting in performance monitoring across departments.
The Assistant Manager - Operations is responsible for the performance and management of Production, Medical/Pre-Authorization, Claims, Call Center, and Network departments including FWA in the Oman market.
Your Job:
· Support the annual strategic, operational, and financial planning process by collecting and analyzing data and generate detailed performance reports for internal review and client updates.
· Help ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and regulatory standards.
· Lead projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and objectives are met.
· Monitor departmental KPIs, client TATs, and SLA performance, and provide regular updates.
· Assist in analyzing data for budget recommendations, resource planning and cost-benefit analysis of operational investments.
· Support efficiency improvement and productivity enhancement initiatives.
· Operates under the strategic guidance of the Operations Manager while exercising independent judgment in day-to-day operations.
· Makes decisions within project and operational scopes to ensure targets and objectives are met effectively.
Your profile:
· Bachelor’s degree in medicine, Business, or MBA.
· AAPC certification, Certification in process improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma) is a plus.
· Large experience in managing complex operations environments, at least the last 5 years in Senior roles with Operational track record with proven results.
· Good knowledge of Microsoft applications, especially profound experience in developing PowerPoint presentations, MS projects and Excel.
· Experience in managing operations through efficiency, quality, and customer experience.
· Fluent in business English (verbal and written skills).
· Ability to provide leadership & motivate team members.
· Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate and work effectively with all levels of the organization.
Minimum Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in medicine, Business, or MBA.
· AAPC certification, Certification in process improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma) is a plus.
Minimum Experience:
· Large experience in managing complex operations environments, at least the last 5 years in Senior roles.
· Operational track record with proven results.
· Experience in managing operations through efficiency, quality, and customer experience.
